Overview
The electrode lid of the HPE™ BlueHorizon™ has three electrode positions (270 mm fixed, 195 mm fixed, 115 mm variable). The electrodes are fitted with unbreakable platinum rods. This makes it possible for the operator to move and clean the electrodes himself. The positions fit all types of film-supported gels.For 2D electrophoresis, we also offer an optional special lid with tray (Cat. No. HPE-ELIPG) to focus IPG strips of the first dimension on the HPE™ BlueHorizon™ system as well. Depending on the strip length, however, the BluePower 6000 IPG high-voltage power supply is required.Ideally matched, we recommend using the HPE™ BlueHorizon™ with the SERVA BluePower 3000 HPE™ power supply and the HPE™ cooling unit. All three units are also available as a complete system (Cat. No. HPE-BHSYS).
