Overview
Unlike unstirred water baths, constant circulation systems deliver more uniform temperature control to improve temperature stability. unstirred or non-circulatory water baths tend to heat from the planes of the sides and from the bottom of the chamber, which let the fluid near the heating element be warmer than that in the center. Circulating baths provide continuous movement to the fluid, making sure there are no variations in the temperature and can maintain high uniformity.
The stainless steel reservoir of these water baths is seamless with no welds to leak or rust and the rounded corners provide an additional benefit of easy cleaning of the interior to prevent contamination. The highly domed, hinged acrylic lid tilts out of the way while allowing a complete view of the sample and condensation to drain back in the chamber.
